Conclusion

Leadership, meeting needs and pastoral care were excellent. In less than a year, the school had made exemplary progress in providing appropriate educational and therapeutic experiences in line with its aims to meet the needs of young people and their families based on their needs. The school provided young people with calm and purposeful care, motivating opportunities to achieve and widen their interests, and to experience positive relationships with staff. As a result, young people were making evident progress in their learning and their ability to work and lead independent lives. The school was continuing to improve and extend its provision, for example by extending its vocational education.
