COMPUTERS

Within the school setting there is a minimum of 3 computers per 6 pupils. Each pupil’s bedroom features an equipped study area, including a computer for their individual use.

SAFETY

Following consultation with several fire and risk specialists we have elected to install an Automatic Sprinkler System throughout our residential accommodation. Our pupils and staff will therefore enjoy a very high level of safety from fire.

FEE STRUCTURE

As a specialist school that provides a unique service we make every effort to establish a fee that offers ‘best value for money’. Nevertheless, every year we are required to re-assess the level of our fees to take account of cost of living increases, annual pay awards and national guidelines in relation to staffing levels and qualifications. We do however make every effort to ensure that annual increases are kept to an absolute minimum. Local Authority staff will be notified whenever we are required to revise fees no later than 31st November. Revised fees come into effect on the 1st January each year. Acceptance of a place at Alpha School by a local authority entails acceptance of this fee setting procedure.
